My “Bicyclette” series was completed in 2015. This series was painted to honor underprivileged young girls in Cambodia. Without bicycles, they have to walk on foot to their schools and risk their lives and their safety. The bicycle is a literal and figurative means to empowerment and education. Bikes = education.
