My fascination and intrigue with birds has come to a forefront over the last decade. I also have a love of patterns and numbers. I learned about murmurations while living in the piedmont of North Carolina and would continually see these swooping and undulating patterns of hundreds of birds near our home. I began to investigate and research and ran across this video that was the impetus for the entire series: Bird Ballet.
